An mian point EX-HN 8

Location: it is midway between yi feng point SJ17 and feng chi point G20

Anatomy: under the point there are skin, subcutaneous tissue, platysma and capitis. Double distribution over the skin by the lesser occipital nerve and the great auricular nerve. Capitis with lateral branches to the posterior branch of the second cervical nerve.

Function ：Anticonvulsant, soothing the nerves.

Indications： disease, insomnia, headache, dizziness, high blood pressure,  psychosis, hysteria.

安眠穴是經外奇穴。
標准定位：在項部，當翳 風穴 SJ17和風 池 穴 G20連線的中點。

穴位解剖：穴下有皮膚、皮下組織、頸闊肌和頭夾肌。皮膚由枕小神經和耳大神經雙重分布。頭夾肌由第二頸神經後支的外側支到配。

功用：鎮驚安神。

主治病症：失眠，頭痛，眩暈，高血壓，精神病，癔病。

刺灸法：直刺0.5－1寸，可灸。
