Coronary Heart Disease

General Information

When coronary arteries of the heart become hardened, narrow or blocked, the blood supply to the heart muscle becomes insufficient or even stops, and causes myocardial infarction (the heart muscles become damaged for lack of  nutrients). 

Clinical symptoms include myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, coronary insufficiency, and arrhythmia.
