Actions & Indications: 主治﹕ | In decoction: for : strokes, nausea, vomiting, sudden cough, vomiting blood, excessive vaginal bleeding not during menses, vaginal yeast or bacterial infection, postpartum blood clot, dead fetus, difficulty in giving birth, retention of placenta, food poisoning, cold and pain in abdomen, swollen and painful groin (males). External uses: pus in the ears, boils in navels in children, erysipelas (St. Anthony's), furuncle in children, chronic boils, all kinds of carbuncles. Other uses: for those who are prone to vomiting after taking herb, try to make decoction from fu long gan and use the decoction as water to boil the herb formulae. This may prevent vomiting from taking herb decoction.
