主治：

for mood stabilizing, insomnia, poor memory, relieving pain, swelling due to injuries and abscesses, getting rid of worms. As diuretics, as tonics. External uses: in injuries, broken bones, sores with abscesses.

憂鬱失眠﹐精神不安﹐健忘﹐止痛﹐筋骨折傷﹐肺膿瘍﹐癰疽瘡腫﹐驅蟲﹐去水﹐補虛。外治跌打折損﹐癰疽。

For abscess in the lungs: he huan pi 12 g, sang bai pi 10 g, jie gen 5 g, dong gua zi ren 10 g, tao ren 10 g, xing ren 10 g, yu xin cao 10 g, water 800 cc. Simmer to 300 cc.  Make into 3 serving per day. Drink as tea. Source: min jian yan fang (folk medicine)

肺部膿瘡：合歡皮12 克， 桑白皮 10 克，桔根 5 克，冬瓜子仁 10克，桃仁 10克，杏仁 10 克，魚腥草 10 克。加水 800 毫升。 煎至300 毫升。分三次服。（民間驗方）

Cautions:

禁忌：

use with care in cases of gastritis. Do not use in case of feng re (wind heat type syndrome) with instant sweating and those with cold or influenza and with difficulty in sleep.

胃炎患者慎服。  風熱自汗、外感不眠者禁服。。
