Location: on the face, about the width of the middle finger, in front of the corner of lower jaw, when pressed  the indentation. It is in the masseter muscle during chewing action.
 

Anatomy : in front of the lower jaw corner, there are masseter, masseteric artery and vein, spreading of auricular nerve, the facial nerve and masseteric nerve.
 

Application：facial nerve palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, temporomandibular arthritis, mumps, and so on. Combining with di cang point and hegu point, it is treatment for drooping mouth, toothache, swollen cheek; Combining with xia guan point and he gu point itc is being used in treating temporomandibular arthritis.
 

頰車 S6; ST6

頰車穴定位： 在面頰部，下頜角前上方約1橫指(中指)，當咀嚼時咬肌隆起，按之凹陷處。

頰車穴解剖： 在下頜角前方，有咬肌；有咬肌動、靜脈;布有耳大神經，面神經及咬肌神經。

主治：臉部神經麻痺，三叉神經痛、顳頜關節炎、腮腺炎等。配地倉、合谷等主治口角歪斜、齒痛、頰腫；配下關、合谷主治顳頜關節炎。
