摘要 有研究証明欖仁樹（Terminalia catappa L.）葉提取物可以保護肝細胞、對抗某些肝毒藥物誘發的急性肝損傷，但是其活性成分及作用機制仍不清楚。本實驗旨在研究欖仁樹葉醇提物氯仿相（the chloroform fraction of the ethanol extract of T. catappa leaves, TCCE）對CCl4誘導的小鼠肝損傷的防護作用，分析白細胞介素6（interleukin 6, IL-6）轉錄和翻譯水平的變化，探討TCCE的作用機制。小鼠以不同劑量TCCE（10、30 mg /kg）灌胃，連續 5 d，腹腔注射CCl4，24 h後檢測， CCl4誘導的小鼠血清谷丙轉氨酶（sALT）、谷草轉氨酶（sAST）水平的升高均受到顯著抑制。運用RT-PCR、Western blot和免疫組織化學方法，分析肝臟 IL-6 mRNA及蛋白表達量的變化，發現：TCCE能對抗CCl4 引起的小鼠肝臟 IL-6 mRNA過量表達；顯著抑制小鼠肝臟中央靜脈周圍CCl4誘導的 IL-6免疫活性的升高。總之，TCCE具有良好的護肝作用，且其護肝作用可能與抑制IL-6過量表達有關。
