li zhi san 荔枝散      (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Name of formula: li zhi san (Source of formula: Zhen Zhi Jun Shen)

Application: hernia, swollen testes with acute pain

Composition:

li zhi he 14 pieces (use fresh seed, roast till dark), ba jiao hui xiang (stir fry), chen xiang,  guang mu xiang, coarse lake salt, table salt, 3 g each, chuan lian zi,  xiao hui xiang 6 g each.

Make into fine powder. Take 9 g each time with empty stomach with warm rice wine.

 

荔枝散 (證治准繩)

 

主治：疝氣﹐睾 丸腫大，痛不可忍。

 

組成 ：

荔枝核（ 用新鮮者，燒炭存性）14 枚，八 角茴香（炒）、沉 香、廣 木香、 青鹽、食鹽 各3 g，川 楝 子肉 、小 茴香各6 g。

以上為細末， 每服 9 g，空腹時熱酒調下。
