qu chi point LI11
Location: When the elbow is flexed, the point is in the depression at the lateral end of the transverse cubital crease, midway between chi ze point LU 5 and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus.

Application: sore throat, tooth pain, red eyes, pain, scrofula, urticaria, fever, upper limbs paralysis, arm swelling, pain, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea, high blood pressure, mania.
Combination:  

1. with  xue hai, zu san li for treatment of urticaria;

2. with the shou san li for treatment of upper limb paralysis;

3. with tai chong, da zhui for treatment of hypertension.

Needle application: straight in, 1 ~ 1.5 cun


曲池穴 LI11
　

[定位]肘部彎曲時，在肘橫紋外側端，當尺澤(LU5)與肱骨外上髁之間連線中點。

[尋找方法] 患者應採用正坐，側腕的取穴姿勢，曲池穴位於肘部，尋找穴位時曲肘，橫紋盡處，即肱骨外上髁內緣凹陷處。
[主治] 咽喉腫痛，齒痛，目赤痛，瘰疬，蕁麻疹，熱病上肢不遂，手臂腫痛，腹痛吐瀉，高血壓，癲狂。
[配伍] 配血海, 足三裡治蕁麻疹；配手三里治上肢不遂；配太沖、大椎治高血壓。
[刺灸法 ] 直刺 l～1.5寸。
