野麥、巨句麥、大蘭、山瞿麥、石竹子花、洛陽花、十樣景花，竹節草、鋸句麥、大菊、大半、石竹、南天竺草 。

 mainly being produced in  Hebei, Henan, Liaoning, Hubei, Jiangxi, Zhejiang provinces of China.

主治﹕

 gonorrhea, edema, urinary tract inflammation, difficulty in urination, irregular menses, amenorrhea, dystocia, carbucle

淋病，水腫，膀胱炎，尿道炎，小便不利，月經不調，經閉，難產，癰腫。

  7. 異紅草素
  8. 瞿麥皂甙A～D (one of the saponins is (gypsogenin)

Dosage:

用量﹕

 6 to 12 g. Large dosage can be up to 24 g.

6~12 克。 大剤量可用至24克。

Modern Research:

現代研究﹕

 methyl 3,4-dihydroxybenzoate showed potent anti-pregnancy activity, given 200 μg/kg to pregnant rat can terminate pregnancy at its early stage of pregnancy.[1]

3，4-二羥基苯甲酸甲酯 (200 μg/kg) 對受孕大鼠具有明顯抗早孕作用。[1]

Toxicity & Cautions:

毒素與禁忌﹕

 Not to use in case ofpixu (spleen deficient) orshenxu (kidney deficient)  or during pregnancy. In early stages of pregnancy it can induce an abortion.

脾虛或腎虛者或懷孕 期間忌用。懷孕初期如用瞿麥可能導致流産。
