Name of Formula: si ni san (shang han lun) Application: ulcer of the stomach with achiness, fullness in chest, pain caused by gall bladder stone, excessive stomach acid. Composition: chai hu 6 g, zhi shi 6 g, shao yao 6 g, gan cao 6 g.Make into decoction and use as tea.
方名 ：四逆散 (傷寒論） 治少陰病四逆，其人或咳 ，或悸，或小便不利， 胸腹中痛，或泄痢下重。應用於胃炎悶痛，肝火胸滿，膽石疼痛，胃酸過多症 本方所治之四逆症，當非四逆湯寒厥之症，故用 治神經性官能疾患之四肢冷者為當。尤著重消化系統病症之腹痛泄痢下重， 有健胃止痛作用。
四逆散乃 大柴胡湯的變方，用治比大柴胡湯較為虛症，比小柴胡湯稍為實症，介於二方間的病症為主。所謂熱厥，即因熱邪傳裡，鬱阻陽氣不能外達，導致四肢厥冷。本方能 疏暢其鬱結，故多用於治神經性官能疾患之四肢冰冷者及消化系統腹痛泄痢下重等症。乃大柴胡湯的變方，用治比大柴胡湯較為虛症，比小柴胡湯稍為實症，介於二 方間的病症為主。所謂熱厥，即因熱邪傳裡，鬱阻陽氣不能外達，導致四肢厥冷。本方能疏暢其鬱結，故多用於治神經性官能疾患之四肢冰冷者及消化系統腹痛泄痢 下重等症。
