  2. anti-inflammatory [b]: anti-inflammation activities of xuan fu hua extract might be attributed to the inhibition of NO, iNOS and cytokine expression through the down-regulation of NF-κB activation via suppression of IκBα and MAP kinase phosphorylation in macrophages.[5]

Actions & Indications:

主治﹕

being used in wind cold type of cough, phlegm stagnation, fullness in chest, asthmatic cough with abundance of phlegm, vomiting, burping, lumps under the chest.

 用於風寒咳嗽，痰飲蓄結，胸膈痞滿，喘咳痰多， 嘔吐噫氣，心下痞硬。

毒素與禁忌﹕

Not to use in yinxu (yin deficient)  with chronic cough, dry cough with wind heat type syndrome.

陰虛勞嗽，風 熱燥咳，忌用。
