Location: 3 inches above the tip of the lateral malleolus , in front of fibula.

For: Pain in the neck , chest pain, lower limb paralysis, dementia, stroke.

Operation: Pierce 1 to 1.5 cun

Clinical application:

Modern commonly used in the treatment of sciatica , cerebrovascular disease , hyperlipidemia , hypertension, cervical spondylosis, and other children 's chorea.

To treat neck pain, combine with tian zhu BL10 and hou xi SI3 .  

To treat vertigo or tinnitus, combine with the feng chiGB20.

To treat  hyperlipidemia combine with feng long point ST40

【定位】外踝尖上3寸，腓骨前緣。

【解剖】在腓骨短肌與趾長伸肌分歧部；淺層布有腓腸外側皮神經。深層有腓深神經的分支。如穿透小腿骨間膜可刺中腓動、靜脈。

【主治】頸項強痛，胸脅脹痛，下肢痿痺。痴呆，中風。

【操作】直刺1～1.5寸。

【臨床運用】

現代常用於治療坐骨神經痛、腦血管病、高脂血症、高血壓、頸椎病、小兒舞蹈病等。配天柱BL10、後溪SI3主治頸項強痛；配風池主治眩暈、耳鳴；配豐隆ST40主治高脂血症。
