zhong ji point RN3 中極穴 (in English and Chinese 中英文)
zhong ji point RN3
Location: zhong ji point RN3 is on the midline line of the front torso, 4 cun below the naval，1 cun above the pubic bone.
Indication: Nephritis, urinary tract infections, urinary retention, pelvic inflammatory disease, postpartum uterine pain, dysmenorrhea, ovulation promotion, male sexual dysfunction.
Warning: not to use acupuncture or moxibustion during pregnancy.
定位：中極 zhōng jí (RN 3): 在下腹部，前正中線上，當臍中下４
操作:直刺0.5～1.5寸不可過深，以免損傷小腸；膀胱充盈時亦可被刺中，故針刺前宜先排尿。艾炷灸5～7壯，艾條溫灸15～20分鐘。
