藥理﹕

1. diuretic effect: hypodermic injection on white mice and

white rats or the water decoction of this herb did not have

diuretic effect.[1]

2. the diuretic effect is from the chemical ingredient ergone,

which can vary from habitat to habitat [2]

3. anti tumor effect  hot water decoction of this herb possesses anti murine cancer cell line S-180. Its main effective ingredient is β -1, 3-glucan

4. anti HBV effect. The anti HBV effect is stronger when combine with dan shen [3]

Actions & Indications:

主治﹕

for edema, edema caused by pyelitis, difficulty in urination, painful urination, acute inflammation of the urethra, leukorrhea, thirst due to heat type of sickness, diarrhea.

水腫，腎盂炎水腫，小便不利，尿痛，急性尿道炎， 糖尿病，白濁帶下，熱性病口渴，泄瀉。
