chyluria, vaginal yeast infection, bed wetting of small children.

乳糜尿、婦女白帶、小兒遺尿、高脂血症。

產地﹕

Mainly produced in southern part of Henan, southern part of Anhui, Zhejiang,

Fujian, northern part of Taiwan, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Northern part of

Guangdong, Northeastern part of  Guangxi provices of China.

分布於河南南部，安徽南部，浙江，福建，台灣北部，江西，湖北，湖南，

廣東北部，廣西東北部等省區。

bitter, neutral and nontoxic.

苦，平，無毒。

主治﹕

for treatment of arthritis, glomerulonephritis, chronic prostatitis, chyluria, and

chronic pelvic inflammation.

關節炎，腎小球腎炎，慢性前列腺炎，尿路感染，乳糜尿，慢性盆腔炎等。

Chemical ingredients:

化學成份﹕

薯 蕷 皂 苷 ( Dioscin ) ， 山 萆 薢 元 ( Tokorogenin ) ， 
纖 細 薯 蕷 苷 ( Gracillin ) ， 考 蓋 元 ( Kogagenin ) ， 薯 蕷 元 ( Diosgenin ) ， 
雅 姆 元 ( Yamogenin ) ， 約 諾 皂 ( Yononin ) ， 山 萆 薢 皂 ( Tokoronin ) 等 。 
叉 蕊 薯 蕷 含 二 甲 基 叉 蕊 酚 (Dioscorea collettii Hook.f contains Dimethyl-terephthalate ) ， 
纖 細 薯 蕷 含 喃 醇 (Dioscorea gracillima Miq contains Furost-5-ene-3β,22,26-friol  3,26-bis-O-glycoside ) 。

用 量﹕

10 to 15 g.

Toxicity & Cautions:

毒素與禁忌﹕

Do not use in cases of shenyinxu (kidney yin deficient) 

According to Ben Cao Jing Ji Zhu, use with yi yi ren. Incompatible with sunflower roots, da huang, chai hu,  mo li, qian hu.

According to Ben Cao Jing Shu , do no use if the lower part of the body does not have yeast infection, or dripping after urination, or pain in the penis due to yinxu (yin deficient) or back pain due to shenxu (kidney deficient) .

According to Ben Cao Bei Yao, it is not compatible with tea or vinigar.

According to Ben Jing Feng Yuan, in cases of  yinxu (yin deficient)  with spermatorrhea, or premature ejaculation due to weakness, frequent urination, urgent feeling the need of defecation, using bi xie may cause sickness to become worse.

腎陰虛者 忌服。
①《本 草經集注》：薏 苡仁為之使。
畏葵根，大 黃  ，柴 胡，牡 蠣，前 胡。
②《本草經疏》：下部無濕，陰 虛火熾，以致溺有餘瀝，莖中痛，及腎 虛腰痛，並不宜服。
③《本草備要》：忌茶葉，醋。
④《本經逢原》：陰 虛精滑及元氣下陷不能攝精，小便頻數，大便引急者，誤用病必轉劇。
