xue xu, Blood Deficient 血虛

Blood deficient or xue xu is a term used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Syndromes:  weak body with pale complexion, pale lips, pale nails, dizziness, palpitation, insomnia, numbness in limbs, pale tongue, thin and weak pulse, hypomenorrhea with pale color blood.

Therapy:

Conditions of blood deficient are usually accompanied with qixu (qi deficient).

Prescription:

Name of Formula: si wu tang :

Composition: tang guishu di, bai shao, chuan xiong

Adjustment:

If qixu (qi deficient) condition also exists: add dang shen, huang qi, gan cao, shan yao

處方:

方名:四物湯

組成當 歸熟 地白 芍川 芎

加減 :  血虛兼有氣 虛 者 : 黨參黃 耆甘 草山 藥
