Actions & Indications: 主治﹕ | - wind heat type syndrome (feng re): Upper respiratory infection with red eyes and sore throat, hoarseness of voice;
- hives with itching;
- measles with inadequate eruption; (often combined with ge gen, bo he)
- high fever with convulsion, tetanus; (often combined with quan xie, jiang can)
- inflammation of the eye with formation of corneal opacity;
