伸筋草在有些地方稱也為寬筋藤，但伸筋草是另外一種植物。

sweet, slightly acrid, neutral.

藥理[1]﹕

Anti-inflammatory effect: the alcohol extract of the root of the herb possesses anti-inflammatory effect.

Regulating immune system effect: the water extract or alcohol extract of the herb can inhibit anemia caused by cyclophosphamide. The water extract is stronger.

1.抗炎作用：寬筋藤根的乙醇抽出物具有抗炎作用。
2.免疫調節作用：寬筋藤莖藤的水抽出物，乙醇抽出物皆能抑制cyclophosphamide誘發的貧血症，但以水抽出物最強。

Actions & Indications:

主治﹕

for difficulty in urination, edema, constipation, pain in rheumatism, bone and muscle ache, injury of the muscles in the lower back, injuries from impact, influenza, hepatitis, stomachache, diarrhea, mastitis, acute cellulitis. The whole plant is used in loosening the muscles.

功能：利水，消腫，瀉下。
主治：小便不利，水腫，便秘，風濕痺痛，筋骨痛，腰肌勞損，跌打損傷，感冒 ，肺炎，肝炎，胃痛，痢疾，乳腺炎，無名腫毒 (急 性蜂窩組織炎.)。

全草舒筋絡。

Chemical ingredients:化學成份﹕

Tinosposides A and B (lignan glucosides), tinosinen (phenolic glycoside).

The stems contain: betulin, β-sitositerol, lupeol.

木酚苷 A 和 B, 酚醛苷。

莖含: 白樺脂醇(betulin)，β-谷甾醇(β-sitositerol)，羽扇豆醇(lupeol)。

Dosage:

用 量﹕

To take orally as decoction: 5~30 g.

External application: use fresh herb, appropriate amount. Smash and apply or soak and make into extract for washing affected area.

煎湯内服：5~30g

外用：鮮品適量，搗敷或浸成藥洗外用。
