The ingredient α-onocerin of Lycopodium  clavatum has the effect of inhibiting acetylcholinesterase [2] and can be an herb for treating dementia cause by spleen deficient

Inhibiting Candida Albicans secreted aspartic proteases [note] [3].

伸筋草之化學成份, α-芒柄花萜醇有抑制乙 醯膽鹼酵素【註】。[3] 本品可能對因脾 虛所致健忘或痴呆症有效。

抑制白色念珠球菌分泌的羧基 蛋白酶 (天 冬氨酸蛋白酶)

Actions & Indications:

主治﹕

rheumatism, numbness in the skin, edema, physical injuries.

治風寒濕痺，關節酸痛，皮膚麻木，四肢軟弱，水腫， 跌打損傷。 
應用於風濕性關節炎及急性化膿性關節炎，或是頸，腰椎病，軟組織損傷，肌肉疼痛，筋脈拘緊等，可加 強通絡止痛之功效。
