主治﹕

riding of infection, blood stasis and stop bleeding; for treatment of sore throat,  noma or the mouth and gum, hemoptysis (coughing of blood), epistaxis (nose bleeding). 清熱解毒，祛瘀止血。用於咽喉腫痛，牙疳口瘡，咯血、衄血等症。

Chemical ingredients:

calcium phosphate, calcium ureate.

fei ren zhong bai (washed ren zhong bai): about the same as ren zhong bai.

calcium ren zhong bai: main ingredient should be calcium phosphate and possibly calcium carbonate or lime (calcium oxide).

磷酸鈣、尿酸鈣（calcium ureate）。飛人中白成分應與人中白相仿；煅人中白主成分應是磷酸鈣，可能尚含碳酸鈣或石灰（lime）[1]

Dosage:

用量﹕

3 - 6 g. Use in decoction and take orally.

External use: appropriate amount .

用法用量：3～6克，煎服。外用適量。

Samples of formulae:

處方舉例﹕

For pain and swelling in throat or noma of the mouth: it can be combined with huang lian, huang bai, er cha, qing dai, bing pian, peng sha etc. Grind into powder and apply externally.

For spitting blood, nose bleeding: it can be combined with ce bo ye, da ji, xiao ji, charcoal of lotus root joints.

對於咽喉腫痛，或牙疳口瘡等症，可配合黃蓮、黃柏 、孩兒茶、青黛、冰片、硼砂等藥。研末外敷。

對血熱所引起的咯血、衄血等症，可配合側柏葉、大薊、小薊、藕節炭等涼血止血藥同用。

Not to use in those with yangxu (yang deficient), weak digestion, diarrhea. [2]
