Varicocele of Spermatic Vein

Varicocele is highest in men between the ages of 15 and 25. It affects about 20% of the male population. About 95% of cases occur on the left side. The sudden occurrence of varicocele in an older man may be caused by a kidney tumor blocking the spermatic vein.

About 40% of infertile men have varicocele of spermatic vein. About 80% of those who have fathered a child but are no longer able to do so have varicocele of spermatic vein.

The following formula is suitable for mild cases of varcocele.

Herb Formula for External Use

Composition:

huang qi , ji xue teng , dan shen ,30 g each,

xiao hui xiang , hong hua , qiang huo ,10 g each.

Boil with water.

Wash and steam affected part twice a day, 30 minutes each time.

Use 2 to 3 day and replace herb. 15 days is one therapy period.

精索靜脈曲張 (筋疝)

治療法﹕

用睪丸托帶托起，驅使淤血回流，血管收縮。辨証施治﹐內服中藥。
冷敷驅除淤血。 輕症可以用外敷治療。

外用藥方﹕

黃耆 ﹐ 雞血藤﹐ 丹參 各3O克， 小茴香﹐ 紅花 ﹐ 羌活 各10克。

水煎﹐以蒸汽熏局部。冷後用以洗陰囊﹐每次3O分钟，每日2次。

一 劑可用 2－3天。15日為1療程。
