In animal experiments, it show that this product can relieve smooth muscle spasms, increase blood circulation and promote clotting. [1]

Actions & Indications:

主治﹕

For treatment of blockage of menses due to blood stasis   , post partum pain due to blood stasis, injuries from impacts, flatulence and pain due to food stagnation caused by pixu (spleen deficient) .

用於血 淤經閉，產後瘀痛，跌仆傷痛，
.脾虛食積停滯，脘腹脹痛。

Chemical ingredients:

化學成份﹕

Essential oil ~ 0.43%, saponin, flavonoids, coumarin, sesquiterpenoids. Camphor is the main ingredient that helps blood circulation and rid of blood clots.

含揮發油大約0.43%﹐ 皂素，黃酮類，香豆素類，倍半萜類成份。樟腦為其活 血化瘀的主要活性成份。

Dosage:

用量﹕

3 to 9 g for rid of food stagnation. Using by itself, the dosage can be 9 to 15 g. Make into decoction.

3 ~ 9 克，用於消食積，單味可用9 至15 克，水煎服。

Samples of formulae

:處方舉例﹕

For blockage of menses, postpartum pain due to xuexu: often it is combined with dang gui, hong hua, yan hu suo.

For injuries from impact: often it is combined with gu sui bu, yan hu suo.

用於經閉不通 ﹐產後血 淤 疼痛，常與當 歸 ﹐ 紅 花 ﹐ 延胡索 等配合應用；

用於跌撲損傷 ，可與骨 碎 補 ﹐ 延胡索 等同用。

毒素與禁忌﹕

not to use during pregnancy or diarrhea due to pixu (spleen deficient) .

Use caution in cases of qixu (qi deficient)   and xue xu (blood deficient) .

懷孕期間或脾 虛 腹瀉禁忌用。

氣虛 血 虛 者慎用。
