Seed disperses wind-heat and sooths the throat, rids of toxins and

swellings.

Use in wind-heat cold and flu, early stages of measles, wind-heat type

of cold or influenza, swelling and pain of the throat, acute or chronic

inflammation of the throat, tonsillitis, bronchitis, breast tumor, liver

stagnation and infection of the stomach .　

Root disperses wind-heat and rids of swellings.

牛蒡子 疏解風熱，透疹利咽， 解 毒散腫。 用於風熱感冒，咽喉腫痛，

急 慢性咽炎，扁桃體炎，支氣管炎，乳 癌，肝氣鬱結，胃部感染。

牛蒡根 具有祛風熱，消腫毒的 功 效。

水浸劑對多種致病性皮膚真菌有不同程度的抑制作用；

2. 降 低 血 糖 作 用: 牛蒡子 提 取 物 能 降 低 大 白 鼠 血 糖 ，

 對 碳 水 化 合 物 耐 量 高 ， 毒 性 小 。

5. 抗腫瘤作用: 其粗 提取物呈選擇毒性，較低量就可以 抑制癌細 胞增殖，

使腫瘤細胞向正常細胞接近，可能成為強有力的抗癌生藥。
