For improving circulation, regulating menses and arresting pain, ridding of heat and tumors. Being used in gastric pain, hepatitis, irregular menses, pain  during menses, vaginal discharge, inflammation of the mouth, itchy skin, testes inflammation, mammary gland inflammation, tuberculosis of the lymph nodes, sexual impotence due to gan qi yu jie..

For treatment of hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, discomfort of the chest of rib cage, gastric pain, diarrhea with abdomen pain [1]

行氣調經止痛，清熱散結。用於胃痛，肝炎，月經不調，痛經，帶下，口腔炎，皮膚瘙痒，睪丸炎，乳腺炎，淋巴結結核，肝氣鬱結之陽痿。
