Name of Formula: xi jiao sheng ma wan 《source: Yi Zong Jin Jian 》

Application: freckles, acne, liver spots （lentigo senilis, old age spots)
 

Composition:

xi jiao 45 g，sheng ma 30 g， qiang huo 30 g，fang feng 30 g，bai fu zi 15 g， bai zhi 15 g，sheng di huang 30 g， chuan xiong 15  g， hong hua 15 g， huang qin 15 g，sheng gan cao 7.5 g

Make into powder and  use steamed bread to mix the powder to form into pills and dry them. Take 6 g orally with weak tea before bed time with empty stomach.

犀角升麻丸 《方源：醫宗金鑒 》  

主治: 雀斑，粉刺，酐黯。  

組成:

犀角45克 ，升 麻 30克， 羌活 30克，防 風 30克，白 附子15克， 白芷 15克，

生地黃 30克， 川 芎15克 ， 紅花15克 ， 黃芩15克 ，生甘 草 7.5克
 

上藥各為細末，合勻，蒸餅為小丸。每服6克，空腹、臨臥時用清茶 送下。

編者註：蒸餅是像現代的饅頭。以饅頭為粘合劑把藥粉作為小丸。然後烘乾。
